Groundbreaking ceremony marks Airhorse’s new factory expansion in Guangzhou

Guangzhou, 19 October – Guangzhou Airhorse Compressor has held a groundbreaking ceremony for its new factory in Zengcheng District, Guangzhou, signalling the firm’s major capacity expansion.

The event, themed “Lay solid foundations for a new journey; unlock tomorrow through smart manufacturing”, brought together local officials, partners and guests to witness the launch of this key industrial project.

Distinguished Guests

The ceremony opened in a formal and positive atmosphere.

Xie Guifu, General Manager of Guangzhou Airhorse Compressor, shared the factory’s development plan. He stated that Airhorse aims to finish construction and start production as soon as possible. The new site will repay support from local government and communities and contribute to regional economic growth.

Representatives from Zhongxin Town government, Zengcheng District, recognised Airhorse’s strength and expressed high expectations for the new factory.

A representative from Dongguan Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. promised strict supervision and full project management throughout construction.

Que Kaifu, Chairman of Zhongsheng Construction Group, outlined the construction plan. He committed to delivering the project on schedule and supporting Airhorse’s expanded R&D and production layout.

Guests took part in the symbolic soil-turning groundbreaking ritual. As the countdown ended, invited representatives shovelled soil to officially kick off construction work.

The groundbreaking marks more than just the start of construction; it is the beginning of Airhorse’s next phase of growth.

Construction on Airhorse’s new factory started on 19 October 2026. With this expansion, Airhorse will continue to focus on gas compressors. This facility will integrate product research, manufacturing, domestic sales and export business.
